How does Smart Home Automation save money?

Water sensors can be installed at the base of hot water heaters and air conditioner drip pans. These sensors notify the homeowner of leaks before damage occurs.

Temperature sensors and/or door open sensors can be installed on freezers to protect your food.

A customer received a notification from EZ Home Control indicating that the freezer temperature exceeded the maximum allowable value (15 degrees, in this case). After investigating, the homeowner discovered that a recently added item prevented the freezer door from sealing when it was closed. This could have been a very costly situation if it went undetected.
